Visualization
Poliovirus 135S cell-entry intermediate produced by heating native virus for 3min at 50degrees in 20mM HEPES pH 7.4, 2mM CaCl2. 135S particles were digested by Staphylococcus areus V8 protease. Images were corrected for the CTF (by deconvolution) and decay before reconstruction.
